Riles Front Sights - RnR Design, Inc.

RnR Design now has a lens cell accessory for the 30 mm front sight. It is designed to be a removable lens cell for shooters that wish to remove, clean or change the diopter power of the lens. The threads are 1 ¼ - 28 UN external on one end and 1 ¼ - 28 UN internal on the other end. The lens is held in a fixed position with a cyanoacrylate adhesive in a precisely machined and anodized aluminum component. The lens now is not secured inside the sight tunnel by an o-ring and retaining ring as before. Indexing is no longer an issue, the cell locks up against a shoulder the same way every time in the same sight tube.

The diopter value of the lens is mechanically engraved on the outside diameter of the cell body.

The lens is the same Essilor CR39 Crizal lenses as previously provided.
Each cell does allow accessories to be daisy-chained in the front side of the cell; you can group other accessories together like shades and rain guards.
