We are actively seeking a dedicated Mechanical Engineer to join our manufacturing and R&D division in Ahmedabad.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and mechanical development of fiber laser cutting machines, tube cutters, and custom special purpose machinery (SPM).
- Preparation of detailed manufacturing 2D drawings, 3D assembly models, and comprehensive Bills of Materials (BOMs).
- Active coordination with shop-floor fabrication, machining vendors, electrical assembly, and procurement teams.
- Participate in machine assembly alignment, mechanical testing, trial cutting verification, and field troubleshooting.
- Maintain quality assurance records, project execution timelines, machine operating manuals, and technical documentation.
Required Technical Skills
- High proficiency in SolidWorks, AutoCAD, and 3D mechanical CAD modelling tools.
- Strong fundamental understanding of sheet metal fabrication, structural steel stress-relieving, and CNC machining processes.
- Practical familiarity with industrial pneumatic circuits, hydraulic positioning systems, linear guide rails, and rack-pinion drives.
